Faculty Fest Events

What better way to start Faculty Fest than with an inter-faculty event with Indigenous Students & Studies (IS&S)? Join us for a day in the sun at Six Nations Reserve with various athletic activities including lacrosse, archery, and canoeing/paddling! If you have registered for the event – pickup will be at 9:45 a.m. in MUSC!

Not your thing? Camp ArtSci will also be running during the same time on-campus with ArtSci-specific tours, fun activities, and a group lunch!

On BSB field, there will be prospective DeGroote School of Business clubs and their student leaders (DWIB, Top Ad, DFA, DMA, etc.)  There will be swag and information available at each table. There will be a FYO (First Year Orientation Program) information booth and Business SWAG bag booth set up. There will also be reps giving students tours and tutorials on how to use Mosaic and Avenue, essential tools heavily used in your time at Mac. DeGroote Commerce Society and IBH representatives will share tips students can use to ensure their first year goes smoothly.

We will also have our TIE-DYE station open for students to customize their faculty shirts! Collaborations on fun activities with other Faculties will take place throughout the event. Meet your incredible classmates, roommates and new friends through volleyball, a petting zoo, zumba class and much more!

Faculty Fest shows all our students the wonderful clubs and teams that our McMaster Engineering Society has to offer. Our clubs and teams are displayed on the JHE field with booths and students ready to share and answer questions. If students need a break from clubs and teams, we have a petting zoo with many friendly animals excited to meet students, as well as tours tailored to help you navigate buildings based on your class schedule to make sure you can be there on time and snag the best spot in lecture.

To get set up with a tour, come find one of the Engineering reps at the big red McMaster Engineering Society tent in front of the Engineering building. If you want to see our amazing clubs and teams, and even say hello to some of our petting zoo friends, come find us on JHE field.
