Staying productive and prepared, one piece at a time

Using the evidence-based Pomodoro Technique, you’ll learn how to break large tasks into manageable work sessions that can improve concentration, reduce overwhelm and support academic success. Whether you’re preparing for exams, working on assignments, catching up on readings or tackling a major project, Pomo Café can help you stay motivated and productive.

What to expect

Each session includes: 

  • A short academic skills lesson led by peer leaders and academic peer mentors
  • Structured study blocks using the Pomodoro Technique
  • Scheduled breaks to help maintain focus and energy
  • Optional peer mentoring support
  • Free tea, coffee and snacks
  • A welcoming community of students working toward their goals together
