Global Opportunities

Our model

At the Student Success Centre, we recognize the value in creating a globally-inspired ecosystem that nurtures, supports and fosters cross-cultural competencies among students and recent graduates. We recognize the strengths that internationalization brings to our community, and so we take a peer-to-peer learning approach through stories and socials.

Global citizenship can start at home. Our goal is to make global experiences attainable by providing access to global opportunities both locally and abroad. We offer a diverse range of opportunities with over 70 exchange agreements, volunteer opportunities and hundreds of job postings. We also have funding available to support these experiences.

In 2021, McMaster placed 14 in the world in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, which recognizes the contributions of universities as they work to make the world a safer, more sustainable place based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
