Are you searching for your next full-time, part-time, co-op or internship position? Explore your options and get hired at Fall Career Fair. Year after year, this recruitment event helps students in their job search by meeting face-to-face with employers and making career connections. This event is also open to alumni for up to five years after graduation.

What is a career fair?
Career fairs are events that connect McMaster students with employers to provide information about their companies and organizations. Most importantly, they provide information about their recruiting process.
I have never been to a career fair before. What should I know?
If you have never been to a career fair before, come early. There is often a line-up to enter.
What types of opportunities are available?
There are full-time, part-time, co-op, internship, summer, contract, casual, new graduate and volunteer positions.
What should I wear?
Wear what makes you feel comfortable. The organizers recommend business casual attire for job fairs and networking events.
When should I arrive?
Try to arrive at least an hour before the fair ends. Have your student card ready at the check-in table. Once you enter the career fair, you can explore the booths.
What should I bring?
You can bring copies of your resume, a portfolio or business cards (if applicable), and a pen and paper.
How should I prepare to connect with employers?
Prepare your elevator pitch to clearly highlight who you are, your skills, and your career goals. Ensure your resume is well-organized, showcasing your skills, experience and the opportunities you are seeking. Be engaging, confident and enthusiastic.
