To discuss your course selection and/or project work to complete abroad, you must meet with your graduate program office.
Before departure, you will need to complete the following form: Request to be Full-Time Off-Campus.
Taking courses abroad
You will need to consult the course calendar at your host university or connect with the host program office to learn which courses are available. To receive credit for courses you plan to take abroad, you’ll need to get approval from your McMaster program office before leaving for your exchange.
Project work abroad
You may be able to complete project work abroad if there is a professor at the host institution who can act as your supervisor. Discuss your options with your McMaster supervisor and the host program office.
Please note that the McMaster Exchange Program will not match you with a supervisor at your host institution. You must coordinate directly with potential supervisors to make arrangements.
